No. Plenty of clients start with a build and add a retainer later, or come to us with a site already in place and only need the growth side. They do work better together — clients who launch with us and continue on a retainer have their first quarter of content production and campaign build included — but neither is a condition of the other.

Campaign strategy, build and ongoing optimization across the channels we agree on — paid search, social, SEO, content, email — plus landing page iteration, full tracking setup, and monthly reporting in plain language. You get a named lead on your account who actually works on it, backed by the specialists each channel needs — not an account manager relaying messages. Ad spend is separate and paid directly to the platform, so you always see exactly what you're spending.

Paid advertising can generate qualified enquiries within the first two to three weeks, because you are buying demand that already exists. Organic growth is slower and more durable — meaningful movement in search typically takes three to six months, and compounds from there. We plan campaigns so the paid side carries the early months while the organic side builds underneath it.

Most builds run two to four weeks from first conversation to launch, depending on page count and how quickly content comes back. Design, development and copy run in parallel across the team rather than in sequence, which is what makes that timeline realistic — and every build is reviewed before it ships.

Builds start at $1,200 and marketing retainers at $1,000 per month, with most clients landing around $1,500 once paid and organic run together. These are our current rates while we take on a limited intake — they are reviewed as capacity fills, and anything quoted to you is held for 30 days. We would rather price the work so it can be done properly than win it on a number.

Your account has a named lead who stays with it from scope through launch and beyond, working with our designers, developers and paid media specialists as the work needs them. We keep the client list focused so nothing gets handed to whoever is free — and nothing is outsourced once the contract is signed.

The site is yours, and so is the choice. If you'd rather run it yourself, we hand everything over and you owe us nothing further. If you'd rather not think about hosting, updates and the campaigns that feed it, a retainer covers all of that — but it is an option you choose, never a condition of working with us.
